Hunter Pence-The Week In Review May 24-30

Hunter Pence put up good statistics this past week. The Astros played six games and he started in all of them. He went 8 for 23 to give him a .347 batting average for the week. In addition, he had six strike outs, one stolen base, one double and two RBIs.

His season fielding percentage stands at .978 and his current season stats can be viewed here.

Pence is current leading the Astros with a .342 batting average.

This was all in the week following his being named the National League Player of the Week. Actually he shared the honor with Jose Valverde of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
